Colin Wright - Funeral details
Colin's funeral service will be held at Mountsett Crematorium, Dipton, Stanley DH9 9JP on Monday 20th July at 3:30.
It is with great sadness the we report the death of Colin Wright, a long-time fancier and supporter of the NBS and all the local societies. We pass our condolences onto all his friends and family at this sad time.
HANDBOOK and Open Show details
All members should have now received the NBS handbook and schedules for both the Area and SRV shows. If any have not been received please contact the secretary Kevin Batey.
Enteries for the Area show on the 12th of July will be taken either before Gateshead and Newcastle show or after, but please bare in mind I've got to run Gateshead show on the day and time might well be pressing to deal with NBS entries at the show.
Labels for the NBS Open Show can be collected from myself in person at the Gateshead and Newcastle meeting on the Wednesday 8th July at Swalwell Comminity Centre which will also host their ring number 4, 6 and/or 8 show.
Open Show - will be named after Charlie Bowman as the Charlie Bowman Memorial Area Show and held on Sunday 12 July 2026. Judges are Dennis Cairns, Graham Turner, Roy Wilson and Tom McCrindle.
Special and Rare Variety show date - Saturday September 12th 2026. Judges engaged are Don Rowell and Richard Miller.
